I was born in Merida, Venezuela, and growing up in a family of sports lovers profoundly influenced my understanding of the significance of sports in society. Despite enduring the crisis in my country, I was determined to pursue my dreams and immigrated to the United States to follow my passion for design. I began my design journey at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2018, immersing myself in a BFA in Industrial Design.

My love for footwear and industrial design deepened through several collaborative studio projects at SCAD, where I implemented creative and inventive solutions to real-world challenges. It was here that I discovered the power of design to effect meaningful change in the world. After graduating in 2021, I was honored to participate in the Pensole x New Balance masterclass & competition, which further fueled my passion for sports product design.

I recently earned my Master of Science in Sports Product Design from the University of Oregon. This program deepened my understanding of designing specifically for sports, equipping me with skills in footwear, apparel, and equipment design, along with a comprehensive understanding of human physiology, biomechanics, and advanced materials. As a Footwear Design Rookie at Under Armour, I collaborated closely with the cleated team on innovative projects using VR/AR technologies to create accessible and modular sports footwear. My experience as a Footwear Design Assistant at Faryl Robin Footwear allowed me to contribute to the design and development of women’s fashion footwear, honing my skills in digital design and product visualization.

Currently, I am producing my own 3D-printed shoe with Zellerfeld and serving as a Gravity Sketch ambassador, developing new products using VR and new 3D modeling tools.

I am passionate about combining nature, science, and design to address the diverse needs of athletes worldwide, revolutionizing the world of sports through thoughtful and innovative design solutions. By rigorously iterating across various mediums and leveraging emerging technologies, I aim to introduce fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to the design process.
